Dreams + Secrets La Romana is a breathtaking beachfront resort complex set along the Caribbean coastline of the Dominican Republic, blending relaxed tropical elegance with elevated all inclusive luxury.
Dreams La Romana welcomes guests of all ages with spacious pools, family friendly activities, and laid back coastal charm, while Secrets La Romana is the adults only side (18+), offering a more tranquil and romantic atmosphere with exclusive areas, serene pools, and refined dining experiences.
Guests staying at either side of the resort enjoy beautifully appointed rooms and suites featuring contemporary Caribbean design, private furnished balconies or terraces, spa inspired bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities that create a comfortable and luxurious retreat throughout the stay.

FLIGHTS
You will fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), and flights for October of 2027 will begin coming out in December of 2026.
While the room must be booked through the travel advisors, you are more than welcome to book flights on your own and use any points or miles you may have.
Please ensure that the name on your plane ticket matches the name on your passport exactly.

PASSPORTS
Blue passport books are required for international air travel to the Dominican Republic. Passport cards are not valid for flights and will result in denied boarding.
If you need to renew or apply for a passport, we strongly recommend starting that process early to avoid any delays.

Danny + Valeria have secured a room block for their guests at Dreams + Secrets La Romana. Book early to secure your spot with only a $200 deposit.
There is a three night minimum for all wedding group stays at Dreams + Secrets La Romana. Please note that this resort requires all guests attending the wedding to stay on property and book into the couple’s room block.
If you choose to book outside of the room block, there is a $300 per person fee to attend the wedding events. This is a resort imposed fee paid directly to Dreams + Secrets La Romana and is not a fee from Here and Away Travel.
When we refer to the room block, we are referring to a group of rooms being held at a locked in rate. Booking within the block also protects you from potential oversold resort situations. Resorts do sometimes oversell in anticipation of cancellations, which can result in guests being relocated. Booking into the group block helps prevent this.
Booking into the room block also provides you with our full support at no additional cost. This includes pre travel guidance, travel assistance, and in destination support should any unexpected issues arise. If you choose to book outside the room block and not through Here and Away Travel, we are unable to assist with travel related needs or emergencies.
What a room block is not:
A room block is not a physical grouping of rooms located together. Guests arrive and depart on different dates, and room categories are spread throughout the resort. We are happy to request that rooms be placed near friends or family, but these requests cannot be guaranteed. If staying close to another group is important, we recommend reserving a suite together.

Danny + Valeria have organized a room block for all of their wedding guests at Dreams + Secrets La Romana. In order to be considered part of the wedding group, you must book your room using the reservation form. Guests who book earlier will have a greater selection of room categories.
FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE MAY 24TH, 2027. ALL RESERVATIONS BECOME NON REFUNDABLE AT THIS TIME.
Step One: To reserve your room, please complete the reservation form. Only one person per room should submit the form, but you will need all guest information in order to do so.
Important Note About Travel Insurance (Please Read Carefully):
If you would like the cost of travel protection added to your invoice, please select “Yes! Show me the insurance cost.” An updated invoice will then be sent that includes both your room cost and insurance.
By approving your invoice, you authorize Here and Away Travel to charge your deposit and the cost of insurance to your card. Once travel protection is charged, it cannot be removed or refunded.
If you review your invoice and decide not to purchase insurance, do not approve it. Simply email us and request a revised invoice reflecting only the hotel cost.
Declining Travel Protection
If you choose “No,” you acknowledge that there are no refunds for any reason and that you will not have medical coverage while traveling internationally unless secured separately. Insurance must be purchased at the time of deposit to receive full benefits.
Booking Process
Your room will be secured with a $200 deposit. If travel insurance is selected, that cost will also be due at the time of deposit.
Once your reservation form is submitted, we will send an invoice for review and approval before anything is charged.
Airport Transfers
Round trip shared group transfers are available and can be added to your reservation for guests staying at Dreams + Secrets La Romana.
The cost is $145 per person round trip or $290 round trip for up to 4 guests traveling on the EXACT SAME FLIGHTS.
If guests sharing a room are traveling on different flights, one transfer per flight must be purchased.
If you are traveling with others on the same flights, let us know and we can assist with coordinating transfers.
Flight details must be submitted at least 60 days prior to travel. If flight information is not received by this deadline, the transfer company reserves the right to cancel your transfer without refund.
Insurance and Cancellations
ALL RESERVATIONS ARE FULLY NON REFUNDABLE AFTER MAY 24TH, 2027 WITHOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE.
Here and Away Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance when traveling internationally. Insurance protects your financial investment and provides coverage should you experience illness, injury, or medical emergencies while abroad.
Cancellations
Unexpected situations can arise including illness, work conflicts, family emergencies, or injuries. Resort cancellation penalties are strict and non negotiable. Travel insurance is the only way to protect yourself financially in these circumstances.
Please strongly consider travel insurance to ensure you are protected in all scenarios.
Email is the best way to reach us, but you may also call if you prefer, and we will return your call within 48 hours. If you do not hear back within 48 hours, please send a follow up email. We travel frequently for destination weddings, and while we remain available, calls and voicemails may not always come through immediately. If you call and would like a return call, please be sure to leave a voicemail.
Please do not send text messages. They tend to get lost and we keep all travel communication organized via email and calls.
