This website contains all of the important details about the room block, rates, resort information, how to book, airport transfers, passports, travel insurance, and flights.

The Resort
Celebrate in the sunshine at Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Mexico, where Caribbean views, lively pool days, and Hard Rock's signature music inspired atmosphere set the tone for a fun and memorable wedding getaway.
The resort offers two distinct experiences, with Hacienda welcoming families and Heaven offering an adults only setting. A variety of restaurants and bars gives guests plenty of options for gathering over dinner or enjoying cocktails throughout their stay.
Spend your days by the pools, exploring the resort's sheltered ocean coves, or enjoying the slides at Rockaway Bay Water Park. The coastline features protected swimming areas rather than a long, open stretch of beach, giving the waterfront its own distinctive feel.
Whether your ideal getaway includes family fun, cocktails with friends, or a relaxing afternoon overlooking the Caribbean, Hard Rock Riviera Maya offers plenty of ways to make the wedding weekend your own.
Getting There
Flights
You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN) for your stay at Hard Rock Riviera Maya. Flights for July of 2027 are currently available and can be booked now.
While your room must be booked through Here and Away Travel, you are welcome to book your flights on your own and use any points or miles you may have.
Please ensure that the name on your plane ticket matches the name on your passport exactly.

Passports
U.S. citizens will need a valid passport book for international air travel to Mexico. Passport cards are not valid for international flights.
If you need to renew or apply for a passport, we recommend starting that process early to avoid any delays.

The Room Block
Sierra + Emerson have secured a room block for their guests at Hard Rock Riviera Maya. Book early to secure your spot with only a $200 deposit.
There is a 3 night minimum for all wedding group stays at Hard Rock Riviera Maya, and please note that this resort requires that all guests attending the wedding stay on property and book into the couple’s room block.
If you choose to book outside of the room block, there is a $300 per person fee to attend the wedding events. This is a resort-imposed fee paid directly to the property, not a fee from Here and Away Travel.
When we say “room block,” we are referring to a group of rooms being held at a locked-in rate. Booking within the block also protects you from potential oversold resort situations. Resorts do sometimes oversell in anticipation of cancellations, which can result in guests being moved to another hotel. Booking into the group block prevents this.
Booking into the room block also provides you with our full support at no additional cost. This includes pre-travel guidance, travel assistance, and in-destination support should any unexpected issues arise. If you choose to book outside the room block and not through Here and Away Travel, we are unable to assist with travel-related needs or emergencies.
What a room block is not:
A room block is not a physical grouping of rooms located together. Guests arrive and depart on different dates, and room categories are located throughout the resort. We are happy to request that rooms be placed near friends or family, but these requests cannot be guaranteed. If staying near another group is important, we recommend reserving a suite together.

How to Book
Sierra + Emerson have organized a room block for their wedding guests at Hard Rock Riviera Maya. To be considered part of the wedding group, you must book your room using our reservation form. Booking early gives you a greater selection of rooms.
Booking Process
To reserve your room, complete the reservation form below. Only one person per room should submit the form, but you will need the information for every guest staying in that room.
Once your form is submitted, we will send an invoice for you to review and approve before anything is charged.
Your room will be held with a $200 deposit. If you select travel insurance, the insurance cost will also be due at the time of deposit.
You may make additional payments interest-free at any time. To make a payment, request a payment link and choose the amount you would like to pay.
Final payments will be due on or before March 1st, 2027.
Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers between Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Hard Rock Riviera Maya can be added on your reservation form.
Transfers are $250 round trip per reservation. Each reservation must have its own transfers booked. Reservations cannot be combined, and the transfer cost cannot be split between reservations, even if guests are traveling on the same flights.
Flight information must be submitted at least 60 days before travel. If it is not received by that deadline, transfers will be canceled without refund.
Travel Insurance
Here and Away Travel strongly recommends travel insurance to help protect your trip investment and provide coverage for unexpected medical needs while traveling in Mexico. Coverage is subject to the policy’s terms, limits, and exclusions. Please also check your existing health insurance, as coverage outside of the United States varies by plan.
Adding Travel Insurance
On your reservation form, select “Yes! Show me the insurance cost.” Your invoice will include the cost of your room and travel insurance for you to review.
By approving that invoice, you authorize Here and Away Travel to charge your deposit and insurance cost to your card.
Insurance must be added at the time of deposit and cannot be added later. Once purchased, insurance cannot be removed or refunded, regardless of the circumstances.
Declining Travel Insurance
If you select “No,” your reservation will be subject to the group’s cancellation and refund terms, and you will be responsible for securing any medical coverage you may need while traveling internationally.
Cancellations + Refunds
All reservations in the group are fully non-refundable after March 1st, 2027 without insurance.
Unexpected situations can arise, including illness, work conflicts, financial stress, family emergencies, and injuries during travel. The resort’s cancellation penalties are strict and not flexible.
Travel insurance may help protect you in covered circumstances. Please review the policy carefully so you understand what is covered, any exclusions, and the requirements for submitting a claim.
