We are so excited for the December 2025 Naked Jake trip to Hard Rock Riviera Maya in the Riviera Maya, Mexico! 2023 with this group in Punta Cana was so much fun, but we know this trip is going to be even better!

We are Jess + Jayme of Here and Away Travel, the travel agents hosting the trip along with Naked Jake from December 4th - 8th, 2025.

This website has a lot of information about the room block, resort, rates, how to book, passports, travel insurance, flights, etc. Please go through all of the information, and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

The Resort

Getting There

FLIGHTS

Flights for December of 2025 will begin to come out in February of 2025. You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

We are here to answer any questions regarding flights!

PASSPORTS

Blue Passports BOOKS are REQUIRED for travel to Mexico. If you attempt to use a passport card or any other combination of IDs for international air travel, you will be denied entry to Mexico.

If your passport needs to be renewed, or if you will be getting your passport for the first time, it would be best to start that process ASAP so that if you encounter any issues you have plenty of time to sort them out.

Please also note that your plane ticket must match the name on your passport EXACTLY.

The Room Block

When booking, we recommend the 4 nights from December 4th - 8th, but you are welcome to stay 3 nights or longer than 4 if you wish, just let us know your preferred dates on the reservation form! (Just note that there is a minimum of 3 nights at this resort).

Hard Rock Riviera Maya is a large resort, but still MUCH smaller than Hard Rock Punta Cana where we had the last Naked Jake group. We have reserved our block in the Heaven Adults Only section, and room options and pricing are at the link below.

Please note, the room rates for this group are an Event Rate. In order to be included in this group and to attend the events, you MUST be booked through us and into this room block. Your room cannot be booked through any other venue - not direct with the resort, or with any 3rd party (Expedia, etc.), or you will not be permitted into the group events. There no exceptions. Please refer to the “Event Rate” section below for more details.

Booking into the room block also gives you a $200 per night, per room resort credit. So staying 4 nights, this will earn you $800 in resort credits. These credits can be used towards things like the Spa, Golf, Laser Tag, the trampoline park, etc. This is a really awesome perk that the resort is offering to us as part of this group, and we are so excited about it! Just note that there are terms and conditions for these credits, and certain services/activities have restrictions. Please also note that each service/activity you use the credits on has a 25% service fee that you will have to pay - but using the credits is basically like getting a 75% discount on these services/activities.

What a room block is not:

A room block is not a PHYSICAL block of space being held all together for a group. With people checking in and out at different times, booking into different rooms categories (some of which are only in certain buildings), etc., it would be impossible for the resort to put everyone in every group in the same buildings. We can request for your room to be near another room, but please note that these are requests only and cannot be guaranteed. With that being said, at this resort the adults only section is not too large so our group should all be within a few buildings as long as you book into the Heaven section.

EVENT RATE

When you book into the room block for the Naked Jake group, our rate is sometimes higher than you will find on other sites. This is because it is an event rate that includes the private events with Naked Jake, and is not just the resort rate alone.

In order to be included at the events that Naked Jake is playing, you will need to be booked into this block through Here and Away Travel, no exceptions.

Due to guests booking outside the block last year, for 2025 we will have individual electronic tickets for each attendee for each event that will have to be scanned to enter each event (similar to an Event Brite ticket). These will be sent to you via email a couple of weeks prior to travel. You will not be able to enter the events without these tickets.

WHY DO WE CHARGE AN EVENT RATE?

In order for us to put a group like this together, our Travel Agency covers all of the band’s travel (flights, airport transfers, resort stay) as well covering the cost of each event. Event costs include things like the stage, all of the A/V equipment including speakers, mic stands, etc., band equipment that they can’t travel with. Event costs also include food, drinks, decor, entertainment, lighting, and any extras we are having like photo booths, etc. All of these costs add up to tens of thousands of dollars. The Event Rate helps us to cover some of these costs, and this is why we require everyone be booked into the block. If we did not charge the event rate, we would not be able to host these events with bands like Naked Jake!

HOW TO BOOK

Those who book sooner will have a greater selection of rooms! The number of each room type we are holding is limited so put your deposits down ASAP to guarantee the room type you prefer!

Room deposits must be made by July 1st, 2025. Final payments will be due on or before August 1st, 2025.

STEP ONE: To reserve your room, please fill out the following form to get started!

Please note that only one person from each room should fill out the form, but you will need all guests’ information to proceed.

Booking Process:

You will just have to put down a $200 deposit to hold your room, and you may make interest free payments at any time.

You will fill out the room reservation form, and then we will send you an invoice that you will approve to make sure everything is correct for your stay. Once we receive that, we will make your deposit.

Nothing will be charged to your card until you sign the invoice approval.

Any time you would like to make a payment, you will just request a link from the travel agents that will be sent over and you can make the payment for any amount you would like.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Round Trip Airport - Hotel Transfers

We will be arranging round trip airport transfers for the group - please note that this is not included in the room cost. Once we get closer to travel, we will be arranging the transfers grouped by guests on the same flights to keep these costs as low as possible per person.

Please keep this in mind when booking flights - if you are on the same flights as other guests, we will be able to keep these costs at a much lower price point for everyone in that group.

When we get closer to travel, we will send out a form to collect flight information for each guest and arrange the airport transfers.

INSURANCE + CANCELLATIONS

ALL RESERVATIONS IN THE GROUP ARE FULLY NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER August 1st, 2025 WITHOUT INSURANCE. Deposits are non-refundable from the time of deposit without insurance.

Here and Away Travel STRONGLY recommends that you purchase travel insurance, especially when traveling internationally.

We highly recommend travel insurance not only to protect the investment on your trip (many deposits and payments with group blocks are non-refundable if you do not), but also to protect you if something unexpected happens and you need medical attention or have to go to the hospital in Mexico. Most US insurance companies don't cover anything that happens outside of the USA, which can leave you with HUGE bills that would not be reimbursed unless you have medical coverage for your trip. (Also please note, the hospitals in Mexico are all privately owned and will not allow you to leave until ALL bills have been paid.) Please note that Here and Away Travel cannot help you recoup any financial losses that arise in the case that you do not purchase travel insurance.

CANCELLATIONS:

We know that most things that come up that would cause you to have to cancel your trip are unexpected and that most people think they will never use their travel insurance. The fact is, most won’t have to use it and we hope you never do. But travel insurance isn’t for those “most times.” It’s for the times that something unexpected comes up before or during travel - illnesses, last minute work obligations, sudden financial stresses, injuries during travel, etc. The last thing we want is for something incredibly stressful to be going on and then on top of it, you are out thousands of dollars in travel costs or medical expenses because you did not purchase insurance. Please note that not refunding costs after the date of August 1st, 2025 is not our policy, it is the resort’s group policy and they do not budge.

PLEASE we beg you to consider travel insurance so that you are financially protected in all scenarios.

Hard Rock Riviera Maya offers travel insurance through TravelInsured that is based on the cost of your trip, but is INCREDIBLY well priced. For 4 nights in the lowest room category, it is just $40 per person (in a double occupancy room).

When you choose insurance in the Room Reservation Form, we will send you the link to all of the coverage details based on your state of residence.
