Airport Transfers Provided by Amstar
Please review the details below carefully so your arrival and departure experience is smooth and stress-free.
Arrival Instructions
Follow the exit signs to find your Amstar Representatives in the blue shirts outside the terminal. They will greet you, check you in, and guide you to your transfer vehicle.
If you cannot locate your representative call Amstar immediately.
Use this link to familiarize yourself with the airport and location of your Amstar Representatives: https://www.amstardmc.com/en/airport-maps/. Once on the Amstar’s site, select the airport you will be arriving in.
Departure Instructions
On arrival, your representative will provide you with a yellow ticket. You MUST redeem this ticket with your Amstar hotel representative within 24 hours of arrival to reconfirm your return transfer and obtain your pick-up time.
The travel agents do not have the return pick-up times. Only Amstar can provide and confirm them.
If you are unable to locate the representative, call the Amstar office during normal business hours.
Be checked out and at your pick-up location 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Call Amstar immediately if you cannot find your transportation driver.
IF YOUR ARRIVAL FLIGHT IS DELAYED
If your arrival flight is 2+ hours delayed, please let Amstar know IMMEDIATELY upon the delay announcement. You MUST contact them directly so that they are aware. Contact information is below.
IF YOUR DEPARTURE FLIGHT IS DELAYED
Please note that if your departure flight is delayed, you will still have to take the transfer at the originally scheduled time. Private transfers and drivers are scheduled ahead of time and last minute requests for later pickup times cannot always be accommodated.
Please keep in mind that in this scenario, the airlines do request that you always arrive to the airport at the original arrival time in case they are able to decrease the delay and get the flight in the air sooner than anticipated. (We have had clients miss flights because they did not follow this suggestion, it is not uncommon especially with delays for mechanical issues.)
For your return transfer from the resort to the airport, you must be in the lobby 15 minutes prior to your transfer pick up time.
Important
Failure to notify Amstar of flight changes will result in 100% penalty.
IF YOU ARE ON A SHARED TRANSFER THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES TO PICK UP TIMES PERMITTED.
No-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
