You will fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).
Flights for December 2027 will begin being released by the airlines in February 2027. Since each airline releases its schedule at a slightly different time, flights may become available over several weeks.
While your resort accommodations must be booked through Here and Away Travel as part of Kierra + Miguel's wedding room block, you are more than welcome to book your own flights and use airline points, miles, travel credits, or any other promotions you may have available.
Please ensure that the name on your airline reservation matches your passport exactly, including middle names or initials if applicable.

A valid U.S. Passport Book is required for all air travel to the Dominican Republic. Passport Cards cannot be used for international flights and will result in denied boarding.
If you need to apply for a new passport or renew your current passport, we strongly recommend beginning the process as early as possible to allow plenty of time for processing.

Kierra + Miguel have reserved a wedding room block for their guests at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana. Your deposit will serve as your official "Yes" RSVP to celebrate with them in paradise!
Dreams Macao Beach requires a minimum three-night stay for all wedding group reservations, and the resort requests that all wedding guests stay on property and reserve their accommodations within the couple's room block.
When we refer to the "room block," we're talking about a collection of rooms being offered at exclusive, locked-in wedding rates. Booking within the room block also helps protect you from potential oversold situations. Resorts occasionally oversell inventory in anticipation of cancellations, which can result in guests being relocated to another property. Guests booked within the official wedding room block receive priority protection against this.
Booking through the room block also includes the complimentary services of Here and Away Travel. From the moment you book until you return home, we'll be here to assist with planning, travel questions, itinerary guidance, and support should anything unexpected arise during your travels.
What a room block is not
A room block is not a guarantee that everyone's rooms will be located together. Because guests arrive and depart on different dates and reserve different room categories, accommodations are assigned throughout the resort. We are always happy to submit requests for rooms to be located near friends or family whenever possible, but these requests can never be guaranteed by the resort. If staying close together is especially important, we recommend reserving a suite together.

Kierra + Miguel have organized a room block for their wedding guests at Dreams Macao Beach. In order to be considered part of the wedding group, you must book your room using our room reservation form. Guests who book sooner will have the best selection of available room categories.
Final payments are due on or before July 15th, 2027.
Step One: To reserve your room, please fill out the reservation form. Only one person from each room should complete the form, but you will need all guest information in order to submit it.
If you would like the cost of travel protection added to your invoice, please select: “Yes! Show me the insurance cost.” An updated invoice will then be sent that includes your room cost and insurance.
By approving your invoice, you are authorizing Here and Away Travel to charge your deposit and the cost of insurance to your card. Once travel protection is charged, it cannot be removed or refunded.
If you review your invoice and decide not to purchase insurance, do not approve it. Simply email us and request a revised invoice that includes only the hotel cost.
Declining Travel Protection
If you choose “No,” you acknowledge that there are no refunds for any reason after the non-refundable date and that you will not have medical coverage while traveling internationally unless you secure it separately. Insurance must be purchased at the time of deposit to receive full benefits.
Your room will be held with a $200 deposit. If you choose travel insurance, that amount will also be due at the time of deposit. You may make additional payments interest-free at any time.
Once you complete the reservation form, we will send an invoice for you to review and approve before anything is charged.
If you would like to make additional payments later, simply request a payment link and you may pay any amount at any time.
Round-trip airport transfers are available for $125 per room for guests traveling on the exact same flights.
If multiple guests in the same room are arriving or departing on different flights, a separate transfer must be reserved for each different flight schedule.
All flight details must be submitted no later than October 10th, 2027. Any transfers without flight information received by this date may be cancelled without refund.
Please note that all guests must be listed on the transfer manifest in advance. The transfer company is very strict and will not allow guests who are not listed to join another group’s transfer vehicle.
All reservations in the group become fully non-refundable after July 15th, 2027 without insurance.
Here and Away Travel strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance, especially when traveling internationally. We highly recommend travel insurance not only to protect the investment on your trip, but also to protect you if something unexpected happens and you need medical attention or have to go to the hospital outside of the United States.
Most U.S. insurance companies do not cover anything outside of the USA, which can leave you with significant medical expenses. Hospitals will not discharge patients until all bills are paid in full.
Cancellations
Unexpected things happen. Illness, work conflicts, financial stress, family emergencies, injuries during travel, and more. Travel insurance protects you when life is unpredictable. The resort’s cancellation penalties are strict and not flexible.
Please note that Here and Away Travel has no ability to override the resort’s implemented penalties, and emergencies are not a reason for an exception. That is exactly the situation travel insurance is intended to protect against.
Please strongly consider travel insurance so that you are financially protected in all scenarios.
We cannot stress enough how important travel insurance is, especially when it comes to medical coverage while traveling outside of the United States.
Many international hospitals and medical providers require payment before treatment is provided, regardless of the severity of the situation. Even routine medical care can become extremely expensive when traveling abroad.
In the event of a serious medical emergency, services such as emergency medical evacuation back to the United States alone can exceed $75,000 or more, and those arrangements often must be made and paid for immediately.
Even if you choose not to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy, we strongly encourage securing emergency medical coverage for the duration of your trip. This helps ensure you have access to the care you need without being responsible for potentially significant medical expenses that are not covered by most U.S. health insurance plans.
