Flights for April 2027 are now available and ready to be booked. We recommend booking early for the best selection of schedules and fares.
While your resort accommodations must be booked through Here and Away Travel as part of Piper + Tyler's wedding room block, you are more than welcome to book your own flights and use airline points, miles, travel credits, or any other promotions you may have available.
Please ensure that the name on your airline reservation matches your passport exactly, including middle names or initials if applicable.

A valid U.S. Passport Book is required for all air travel to the Dominican Republic. Passport Cards cannot be used for international flights and will result in denied boarding.
If you need to apply for a new passport or renew your current one, we strongly recommend beginning the process as early as possible to allow plenty of time for processing.

Please book the "Suite Only" option and do not bundle your flights. We always recommend booking airfare directly through the airline so you can use airline points, miles, travel credits, and have direct control over your reservation.
The wedding room block is available for stays between April 6th – April 13th, 2027.
In order to be considered part of Piper + Tyler's wedding group, you must reserve your room using the wedding promo code. This gives you access to the exclusive wedding group rates along with the complimentary services of Here and Away Travel.
Your wedding promo code PTWAPR27XEC is valid from June 22nd, 2026 through February 5th, 2027.
Important: If you make any modifications to your reservation after booking, you must re-enter promo code PTWAPR27XEC before saving your changes. If you do not, your wedding group discount may be removed from your reservation.
Please Note: The wedding promo code expires on February 5th, 2027. After this date, no changes may be made to your reservation while keeping the wedding group rate. This includes, but is not limited to, date changes, name changes, room category changes, occupancy changes, or any other modifications. Any reservation changes made after February 5th, 2027 will automatically be repriced at the resort's current public rate, and the wedding group discount cannot be reapplied. Unfortunately, neither Here and Away Travel nor Excellence El Carmen is able to make exceptions once the promo code has expired.
Your credit card will only be charged $1 to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will automatically be charged by the resort 30 days prior to arrival.
If the credit card used for your reservation expires or is declined, your reservation could be cancelled. If your credit card or email address changes, please update your reservation as soon as possible. A link is included in your confirmation email to update your payment information. If needed, the resort can also assist you over the phone.
Reservations booked with the wedding promo code are fully refundable provided they are cancelled more than 24 hours before arrival. If your final payment has already been processed, your refund is typically issued within approximately eight weeks.
We strongly encourage everyone to reserve their room as soon as possible. We are not holding inventory, and room categories can sell out at any time.
As occupancy increases, the resort may require longer minimum stays for new reservations. Booking early locks in both your room and your length of stay before any future restrictions are implemented.
To attend the wedding festivities, guests must stay at Excellence El Carmen. Outside guests are not permitted on property.

One complimentary private round-trip airport transfer is included with each qualifying room reservation. If multiple guests are sharing one room but arriving on different flights, only one complimentary transfer is included.
Complimentary transfers are available between Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and Excellence El Carmen for Suite Only reservations of at least three nights booked directly through The Excellence Collection website.

Every reservation booked with the wedding promo code is fully refundable provided it is cancelled more than 24 hours before check-in (before Noon EST on the day prior to arrival).
Here and Away Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance.
Travel insurance protects you in the event of unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruptions, or emergency evacuations while traveling internationally.
Please note that Here and Away Travel cannot assist with recovering financial losses if travel insurance is declined.
You are welcome to purchase any travel insurance policy you prefer, or use our recommended travel insurance link to compare plans and coverage options.
We cannot stress enough how important travel insurance is, especially when it comes to medical coverage while traveling outside of the United States.
Many international hospitals and medical providers require payment before treatment is provided, regardless of the severity of the situation. Even routine medical care can become extremely expensive when traveling abroad.
In the event of a serious medical emergency, services such as emergency medical evacuation back to the United States alone can exceed $75,000 or more, and those arrangements often must be made and paid for immediately.
Even if you choose not to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy, we strongly encourage securing emergency medical coverage for the duration of your trip. This helps ensure you have access to the care you need without being responsible for potentially significant medical expenses that are not covered by most U.S. health insurance plans.
