We are Jess + Jayme of Here and Away Travel, the travel agents working with Steve for his 40th birthday trip to Temptation Cancun Resort from January 29th - February 3rd!

This website has a lot of information about the resort, how to book, passports, travel information, flights, etc. Please go through all of the information, and we are here to answer any questions you may have!

The Resort

Getting There

FLIGHTS

You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN), and flights for January/February 2026 will begin to come out within the next few weeks (April 2025) for most major airlines. Some airlines will not have flights available until about 6 months prior to travel.

While the room does have to be booked through the travel agents, you are more than welcome to book flights on your own and any use points, miles, etc., that you might have.

Please also note that your plane ticket must match the name on your passport EXACTLY.

PASSPORTS

Blue Passports BOOKS are REQUIRED for travel to Mexico. If you attempt to use a passport card or any other combination of IDs for international air travel, you will be denied entry into Mexico.

If your passport needs to be renewed, or if you will be getting your passport for the first time, it would be best to start that process ASAP so that if you encounter any issues you have plenty of time to sort them out.

The Rooms

Steve is not holding a block of rooms, so in order to get the best possible rate, please fill out the form as soon as possible, as rates typically will continue to increase.

Please note that while there is a 3 night minimum length of stay, you do not have to stay the entire 5 nights of January 29th - February 3rd.

Rates for the resort for this week start at $580/night for 2 adults all inclusive, and go up to $1150/night for 2 adults all inclusive. (Please note these rates can change at any time since no inventory is being held in a block).

When filling out your room reservation form, you can select “Lead In Category” which will give you the most economical pricing, or “Show Me Upgrades,” and we will send upgraded options based on your budget.


HOW TO BOOK

Those who book sooner will have a greater selection of rooms!

STEP ONE: To reserve your room, please fill out the following form to get started!

Please note that only one person from each room should fill out the form, but you will need all guests’ information to proceed.

Booking Process:

You will just have to put down a $200 deposit to hold your room, and you may make interest free payments at any time. PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase travel insurance through the room block, this is also due in full at the time of deposit.

You will fill out the room reservation form, and then we will send you an invoice that you will approve to make sure everything is correct for your stay.

Once we receive that, we will make your deposit. Nothing will be charged to your card until you sign the invoice approval.

Any time you would like to make a payment, you will just request a link from the travel agents that will be sent over and you can make the payment for any amount you would like.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Round Trip Airport - Hotel Transfers (From CUN to Temptation Cancun Resort)

When filling out the reservation form, please add in your transportation:

Group Shared Round Trip Transfers are $60 per person

Flight details must be submitted 60 days prior to travel. We will send a form to collect this closer to travel, and will arrange the transportation for everyone.

It is very important to pre-arrange transportation to and from the hotel. Taxi services at the airport are expensive, unreliable, and inconvenient to have to deal with after a flight.

INSURANCE + CANCELLATIONS

THE INVOICE THAT YOU SIGN WILL REFLECT THE CANCELLATION POLICY.

Here and Away Travel STRONGLY recommends that you purchase travel insurance, especially when traveling internationally.

We highly recommend travel insurance not only to protect the investment on your trip (many deposits and payments with group blocks are non-refundable if you do not), but also to protect you if something unexpected happens and you need medical attention or have to go to the hospital in Mexico. Most US insurance companies don't cover anything that happens outside of the USA, which can leave you with HUGE bills that would not be reimbursed unless you have medical coverage for your trip. (Also please note, the hospitals in Mexico will not allow you to leave until ALL bills have been paid.) Please note that Here and Away Travel cannot help you recoup any financial losses that arise in the case that you do not purchase travel insurance.

CANCELLATIONS:

We know that most things that come up that would cause you to have to cancel your trip are unexpected and that most people think they will never use their travel insurance. The fact is, most won’t have to use it and we hope you never do. But travel insurance isn’t for those “most times.” It’s for the times that something unexpected comes up before or during travel - illnesses, last minute work obligations, sudden financial stresses, injuries during travel, etc. The last thing we want is for something incredibly stressful to be going on and then on top of it, you are out thousands of dollars in travel costs or medical expenses because you did not purchase insurance.

PLEASE we beg you to consider travel insurance so that you are financially protected in all scenarios.

PLEASE NOTE:

WHEN YOU FILL OUT THE ROOM RESERVATION FORM, WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU THE INSURANCE OPTIONS AND PRICING THAT YOU CAN THEN EITHER CHOOSE TO ADD TO YOUR TRIP, OR DECLINE. YOUR CHOICE WILL BE REFLECTED ON THE SIGNED INVOICE.
