Private Airport Transfers

PRIVATE TRANSFER DETAILS:

Once you book, you will receive two email confirmations from USA - one for your arrival, and one for your departure flight. 

IMPORTANT: On the departure flight confirmation, your pick up time from the resort to Cancun Airport will be listed.  If you would like to request to change this pick up time, it has to be done prior to 2pm the DAY BEFORE YOUR TRANSFER.  

Please note that if you attempt to change anything after 2pm the day prior to your transfer, and USA cannot accommodate your request, there will be no refunds given for cancellations or no shows.  

Please note all change requests must be COMPLETED by 2PM, not initiated by 2PM. We recommend getting in touch with USA Transfers to make changes no later than 12PM the day prior to your transfer.

 

 

PRIVATE TRANSFERS - SAME FLIGHT ONLY!

Please also note that USA transfers are PRIVATE transfers, so they are based around ONE flight, and it is ONE car.  If you are trying to book a private transfer for guests who are not all on the same flight, please be aware that the transfer company will only follow the flight that the reservation is booked in.  

 

So if you book the transfer using your flight information, and the guests who are not on your flight are delayed, the transfer will not wait for them and they will have to take a cab.  On the other side, if your flight is delayed, the other guests would have to either wait until your flight arrives (which could be hours) or take a cab.  In BOTH of these scenarios, there will be no reimbursement of the cab cost or refunds if you had less people than originally booked for the private transfer.

 PLEASE ONLY BOOK THESE PRIVATE TRANSFERS WITH GUESTS ARRIVING ON YOUR SAME FLIGHT. 

IF YOUR ARRIVAL FLIGHT IS DELAYED

If your arrival flight is 2+ hours delayed, please let USA know IMMEDIATELY upon the delay announcement.  (See the contact information at the bottom of the page - they have a very easy chat feature.)

 

 

IF YOUR DEPARTURE FLIGHT IS DELAYED

Please note that if your departure flight is delayed, you will still have to take the transfer at the originally scheduled time.  Private transfers and drivers are scheduled ahead of time and last minute requests for later pickup times cannot always be accommodated. 

 

Please also keep in mind that in this scenario, the airlines do request that you always arrive to the airport at the original arrival time in case they are able to decrease the delay and get the flight in the air sooner than anticipated.  (We have had clients miss flights because they did not follow this suggestion, it is not uncommon especially with delays for mechanical issues.).  Also be aware - for any same day changes - if they are able to be accommodated - there is a $30 surcharge to USA Transfers.

 

If you are delayed and the transfer company cannot accommodate a later pickup time (again, we do not recommend this anyway) and you choose not to take the return transfer but to take a cab at a later time instead, please be aware that the transfer cost is NOT REFUNDABLE and there is no reimbursement for the cost of the cab.

CONTACTING USA TRANSFERS 

 

The easiest way to contact USA is to go to their website (at the link above!) and use the chat feature.  You can find it in the lower right corner of the screen.  It is SUPER easy and they are very responsive during regular business hours.  This is how we contact them 99% of the time and they are fabulous.

On your emailed confirmation, you will also find their Cancun office number and Whatsapp chat if you would prefer either of those methods.

Please also note that neither Here and Away Travel or USA Transfers is responsible if you miss your flight due to not getting there with enough time.  Transfer times are based on normal circumstances, but unforeseen things can always arise (traffic, accidents, etc.) that may cause you to be delayed and miss a flight.  If you would prefer to schedule your pickup earlier than the transfer company has scheduled it to give yourself a bigger time buffer, please do so prior to 2pm the day prior to your transfer.
